Suryakumar Yadav powers India to 7-wicket victory over West Indies in 3rd T20I

India's new star batsman Suryakumar Yadav's 76 fell heavy over West Indies as the men-in-blue registered a seven-wicket victory in the third T20I match at St Kitts Tuesday.

Suryakumar's 76 off 44 balls, backed by wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant's unbeaten 33, helped India to chase down the target of 165 with one over to spare.

Earlier, West Indies piled up 164 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Kyle Mayers' 73 off 50 balls.

Mayers was backed by a number of 20s from his teammates but all went in vain when Suryakumar attacked the West Indies bowling.

India have taken a 2-1 lead over the hosts in the five-match series.
