Simona Halep crashes out from US Open after first round defeat

New York, Aug 28 (IBNS): Shocking her fans, Simona Halep crashed out from the ongoing  U.S. Open here on Monday

Simona exited from the first round of the tournament.

She was defeated in the match by Kaia Kanepi.

The match ended with a scoreline showing 6-2, 6-4.

Halep won the French Open this year.
