Sayantan Kushari & Sagnik Roy clinch Mall of the Millennium Pairs title at 67th Ashok Ruia Memorial Bridge Championship

Sayantan Kushari & Sagnik Roy and Joyrup Mullick & Pranab Roy emerged champions and runners-up with 45.89 and 28.84 Match Points (MPs) respectively in the Mall of the Millennium Match Point Pairs (Ranking Event) at the 67th Ashok Ruia Memorial Winter National Bridge Championship at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, New Town, on Thursday.

In the Seniors Pairs Event, Marianne Karmarkar & R. Anbazhagan and Rana Roy & Alok Kumar Sadhu claimed the first and second spots with 101.60 and 100.50 International Match Points (IMPs) respectively after the final round.

Earlier, in the Board A Match Competition, Team Maverick — comprising Shibnath De Sarkar, Partho Sarathi Mukherjee, Jakub Patreuha and Aniruddha Bhattacharya — topped the table with 66 points.

They were closely followed by Team Vedic, represented by veterans Debasish Ray, Rana Ray, Bhavesh Saha, Pinaki Prasad Khan and Satyabrata Mukherjee, who logged 65 points.
