Rayadu, Dhoni power Chennai Super Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL thriller

Bengaluru, Apr 25 (IBNS): A superb batting by Ambati Rayadu and Mahendra Singh Dhoni have powered Chennai Super Kings to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets in a high scoring match in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Wednesday.

Chasing a target of 206, Chennai reached home with two balls to spare in the match. Chennai scored 207/5 in 19.4 overs.

Rayadu and Dhoni were the chief architects of Chennai's win with scores 82 (53) and 70 (34) respectively.

Earlier, Bangalore were sent out to bat by Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who had won the toss.

Bangalore scored 205/8 in 20 overs. AB de Villiers was the top scorer for Bangalore with 68.

Chennai are presently at the top of the points table with 10 points while Bangalore are reeling at sixth position with four points.
