Hamilton, Feb 10 (IBNS): In a crunch game, New Zealand bowlers kept their nerves cool to beat India by four runs in the third match and clinch the T20 series here on Sunday.

After posting massive 212 runs for the loss of four wickets in their 20 overs, New Zealand bowlers managed to restrict spirited Indian team at 208 runs for the loss of six wickets.

Despite a strong show, Dinesh Karthik (33*) and Krunal Pandya (23*) failed to reach the winning the target for India.

Shikhar Dhawan (5) departed early and displayed his poor show with the willow in the series.

Rohit Sharma (38), Vijay Shankar (43) and  Rishabh Pant (28) failed to convert the start they made in the innings.

Santner and Mitchell picked up two wickets each for New Zealand.

Earlier, riding on  Munro's gutsy 72 runs knock, New Zealand piled up 212 runs in their 20 overs.
