MS Dhoni hits the nets at JSCA, fuels speculation of return to active cricket

Ranchi/UNI: Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was today spotted practising at the nets of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium here fueling speculations that 'Mahi' was gearing up for his return to active cricket.

The local bowlers gave net practise of Dhoni who had last played for India in the heart breaking semi-final loss to New Zealand in the World Cup which was played in England. After that Mahi had gone on a break from cricket.

Going by the recent poor form of Rishabh Pant behind and in front of the wickets for India in ODIs and T-20s it looks likely that Dhoni has hit the nets keeping in mind the T-20 world Cup in Australia next year. Dhoni was also present at the JSCA yesterday when 11 practise pitches were inaugurated.

Mahi had spent batting on each of the 11 pitches which have been prepared from the soil which have been brought from the different regions of the country. Before padding up Mahi was busy playing lawn tennis where he won the doubles trophy of the Country Club tennis championship alongwith his partner which was also organised by JSCA.
