New Delhi/IBNS: Indian cricketer MS Dhoni, who has been missing from the field for several months now, on Monday completed 15 years in international cricket.

It was on this day when Dhoni had made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in 2004.

He, however, contributed no run in the match and was out on duck.

Despite starting his career with a duck, Dhoni went ahead and became one of the big names in the history of the game.

He scored 17266 runs across all formats for India.

He made 829 dismissals as wicket-keeper.

As a skipper, he first helped a young Indian wide win the World T20 in 2007 and then the World Cup in 2011.

He last played for India in the semi-final clash against New Zealand in 2019 edition of the World Cup.

India was defeated in the match by New Zealand.
