Look at his numbers in intern'l cricket: Sourav Ganguly backs out-of-form Virat Kohli

Kolkata/London/IBNS: Indian cricket board (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has backed out-of-form star batsman Virat Kohli, whose place in the playing eleven is raising questions from various experts of the game including World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev.

Ganguly said in clear words that he believes Kohli will come back and be successful.

"Look at the numbers he (Virat Kolhi) has got in international cricket, that doesn't happen without ability and quality. Yes, he has had a tough time & he knows that, he has been a great player himself: BCCI president Sourav Ganguly on Virat Kohli's poor form," Ganguly told ANI.

"He himself knows by his own standards it has not been good and I see him coming back and doing well. But he has got to find a way which makes him successful as he has been for the last 12-13 years or maybe even more and only Virat Kohli can do that," he added.

Meanwhile, Kohli has missed the first One Day International (ODI) match against England and is likely to miss the second as well owing to his groin injury.

The former skipper is yet to recover fully.
