Nottingham, Aug 21 (IBNS): Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has once again shared some special moments with wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma after slamming his 23rd Test century in the third Test match against England in Nottingham on Monday.

Kohli, who missed his hundred by three runs in the first innings, went on to score 103 when he batted for the final time in Nottingham Test.

After completing his hundred, the skipper, in the midst of his celebration, took his bat and went on to give a flying kiss to Anushka, who was present at Trent Bridge as a spectator.

Eventually, Kohli's performance received high acclaims from several former cricketers.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has been quoted by BBC as saying, "There are many really great players but he is the stand-out across all the three formats of this era by a country mile."

"He's got the gift to play all around the wicket in every single format."

VVS Laxman tweeted, "We have all gotten so used to Virat Kohli scoring 100’s. Have a feeling he will cherish this one a lot once we win this Test match."

Former Australian cricketer Tom Moody said in a tweet, "This guy @imVkohli continues to show his brilliance, thrives in adversity with breathtaking skill. We will continue to look in awe as he dominates around the world."

Mohammad Kaif tweeted,"Be it any format, condition, location, quality of bowling attack, India’s position in the match, difficult to find a player as adaptable and versatile as Kohli. What an absolute Champion !"

Riding on his hundred and some powerful batting performances, India set 521 runs as target for England, the team which had demolished the visitors in the first two Tests.

Harbhajan Singh said in a tweet, "KING KOHLI 100 @TrentBridge take a bow @imVkohli #ENGvIND 3rd test @BCCI"
