J&K books spot in knockout stage of BCCI's one day cricket tournament

Srinagar/IBNS: For the first time, J&K senior women’s cricket team have reached the knockout stage of BCCI senior women's one day trophy tournament and will be playing their pre-quarterfinal against Delhi.

&K women’s senior team performed brilliantly in the group phase, winning five out of six matches.

The team is scheduled to play the pre-quarter final against Delhi on November 13 at the Alur Cricket Stadium, Bangalore.

In the group stage played in Kolkata, J&K got the better of Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Bihar and Manipur, while it lost to Meghalaya, thus topping the points table of Plate Group with 20 points to emerge group champions.
