Mumbai/IBNS: The fate of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has become uncertain as no foreign player will be available to play in the tournament after the imposition of new restrictions on visas by the Indian government over the outbreak of deadly Novel Coronavirus.

The Indian government on Wednesday suspended all visas, except the diplomatic, official, United Nations/International Organisations, employment and project ones, till Apr 15.

As many as 60 international players are likely to play in the 13th edition of the tournament.

The tournament is scheduled to kickstart on Mar 29.

The fate of IPL will be decided at the tournament's governing council meeting on Mar 14.

As per the latest report, 73 people in India have been infected by the Coronavirus which has spread to over 100 countries.
