Atletico de Kolkata to fly to Spain for pre-season training camp

Kolkata, Aug 24 (IBNS): The champions of the inaugural edition of Indian Super League, Atlético de Kolkata is yet again all set to embark on a month long pre-season training at Los Angeles de San Rafael ground in El Espinar, Segovia, Spain.
The training module has been designed to get the footballers in right physical shape for the demanding second season of Indian Super League commencing on Oct 3. 
 
The Indian contingent of the team will be taking an Emirates flight on Tuesday morning at 9:40 am from Kolkata International Airport for training under the dynamic Head Coach, Antonio Lopez Habas and Trainer Miguel Martinez. Due to National team commitments for the Pre-World Cup qualifiers defender Arnab Mondal and right back Rino Anto will be joining the team later in Spain.

With new additions this season, this training module will help in organizing our team and induce the right team spirit prior to the kick off. It is essential to be confident and get into the groove as a team while moving towards the business end,” Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman RP- Sanjiv Goenka Group, Co-owner, Atlético de Kolkata

“The team is confident and ready to take on the new season of ISL. The training will be basic yet strict. The technical aspect of the players would be scrutinized for the whole month in order to achieve their optimum potential,” Antonio Lopez Habas, Head Coach, Atlético de Kolkata.

Atlético de Kolkata will start training in Los Angeles de San Rafael in August 26. 
 
The international recruits for this season will join the Indian players for a month long training. The training will be rigorous and will focus on improving the fitness of the team both physically and mentally. The training sessions will be hard in order to face the new challenges in the second season of the Indian Super League. The players need to increase their stamina to face the new challenges for various new domestic and international players for the second season.
