Asian Games: India begin day 6 with one gold, two bronze medals

Jakarta, Aug 24 (IBNS): After a disappointing day 5, India started their sixth day of the Asian Games 2018 with one gold and two bronze medals on Friday.

Four Indian men- Sawarn Singh, Dattu Bhokanal, Om Prakash and Sukhmeet Singh- won gold in the rowing event.

Earlier in the day, Dushyant Singh won bronze in men's Lightweight Single Sculls.

In men's Lightweight Double Sculls, Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh won bronze after finishing third.

After clinching one gold and two bronze medals, India moved to the ninth spot with a tally of 21 medals.
