Would have done research in genetics if I was not an actor, says Madhuri on completing 36 yrs in Bollywood

Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Madhuri Dixit on Monday completed 36 years in Bollywood and the diva took to social media platforms to share some memories of her first film 'Abodh'.

The actress wrote on Twitter: "This day back in 1984 I started my journey in Bollywood with Abodh. Join me as I look back at some of the scenes - http://bit.ly/36YearsOfAbodh.  I've had the privilege of working with some very talented people over the years & I'm grateful for all the love #36YearsInBollywood."

In a video shared on Twitter, she said she had thoroughly enjoyed working in the film 'Abodh' in which her hero was late Bengali actor turned politician Tapas Paul.

The actress shot to fame with the action-romance 'Tezaab' and went on to court superstardom with top-grossing hits like 'Dil', 'Beta', 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' and 'Dil To Pagal Hai' among others.

As she completed 36 years in Bollywood, the diva did #AskMD on Twitter.

On being asked what would she do if she was not an actor, Madhuri said: "I would be doing research in genetics if I was not an actor."

The actor, in one of the responses to tweets, said that music cheers her up.

Madhuri also revealed that she loved her co-star and actor Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Chak De India and all the films they did together.
