Trisha shares heartfelt Mother’s Day post after attending Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony

Chennai/IBNS: Actor Trisha Krishnan shared a heartwarming post for her mother Uma Krishnan on the occasion of Mother’s Day, celebrated on May 10.

Trisha described her mother as her “forever source of comfort” in an Instagram story where she was seen wearing the same saree she had worn to the swearing-in ceremony of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay on Sunday.

Emotional Mother’s Day message

The actor posted the picture a day after attending Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony.

She wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my longest-running emergency contact and my forever source of comfort.”

The oath-taking ceremony of actor-turned-politician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief Vijay was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

Vijay took oath in the presence of a massive crowd and his family members after his party registered a stunning performance in its maiden electoral contest.

Though Trisha and Vijay have often been linked due to their close friendship and popular on-screen chemistry, neither has publicly confirmed rumours about their relationship.

In a viral clip circulating online, Trisha was seen getting emotional as Vijay took oath as Chief Minister.
