Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan shines at Chinese BO

Mumbai/Beijing, Mar 5 (IBNS): Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has crossed Rs. 55 crore mark at the Chinese Box Office till Sunday.

" #BajrangiBhaijaan has fared well in its opening weekend in China [crosses ₹ 55 cr]... While the day-wise data shows an upward trend, it will be interesting to see how it fares on weekdays... Fri $ 2.25 mn Sat $ 3.11 mn Sun $ 3.13 mn Total: $ 8.49 million [₹ 55.22 cr]," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Indian films like Aamir Khan's Dangal and Secret Superstars did strong business in China in recent times.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan released in India in 2015 amid positive reviews and appreciation from fans.

The film shows the tale of an emotional connection shared by one small Pakistani girl named Munni and Bajrangi.

The movie is directed by Kabir Khan.

It was the major Eid release of 2015.

The film also featured actress Kareena Kapoor Khan
