Ranveer has been giving his all; including an unusual decision to move out of his family home, to perform the historic part of Peshwa Bajirao in 'Bajirao Mastani'. While the young star is dedicated to this part, his commitment to the film's director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is also unquestionable and honest.
His filmmaker has reciprocated Ranveer’s sincerity and dedication by giving him a special birthday gift. When Ranveer requested Bhansali to give him a four-day break for his birthday, much in advance, the filmmaker has graciously granted him those days off.

Recently, actor Anil Kapoor appreciated him and said he is very a 'promising' performer.
"I must say he is great fun to work with. He is full of energy and a prankster. This film has a great set of actors but I would say Ranveer is probably one person I think who is very promising. He is a talented actor and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him," Kapoor said while speaking on acting with the actor in their last released movie Dil Dhadakne Do.
In his career, Ranveer has acted in several films like 'Band Baaja Baaraat', 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl', 'Lootera', 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' and 'Gunday'.
