Mumbai, Mar 23 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji's Hindi film Hichki has hit the big screens on Friday.

In Hichki, Mukerji will be seen playing a role of a teacher who suffers from Tourette syndrome.

The actress has also said the film carries a message apart from being just an entertaining package.

The senior Bollywood actress, who has acted in several films for more than two decades, is returning to films after a break of four years.

Mukerji, who made her debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat in 1997, was last seen in 2014 film Mardaani.

She took a break from films following the birth of her daughter Adira.

The film has been directed by Siddharth Malhotra.
