Priyanka Chopra's upcoming Marathi production venture Firebrand goes on floor

Mumbai, Jan 9 (IBNS): Actress Priyanka Chopra's upcoming production venture-Marathi movie Firebrand- has gone on floors.

The movie is the new venture of India's global icon Priyanka Chopra and Madhu Chopra's production house Purple Pebble Pictures.

The new movie is directed by National award winning director Arunaraje Patil.

Speaking on the movie, the production house tweeted: "Welcoming 2018 with our upcoming Marathi Project : “Firebrand” @chopramadhu1 @priyankachopra @aruraje."

Priyanka Chopra, who is currently busy shooting in New York and her US projects, tweeted: "2018 is here and we’ve hit the ground running with our new Marathi production #Firebrand directed by the amazing @aruraje which began filming yesterday. All the very best team @purplepebblepic @chopramadhu1 @sandy_bhargava."

Priyanka's earlier Marathi venture Ventilator had grabbed three national awards-Best Director, Best Audiography, and Best Editing.

The movie was directed by Rajesh Mapuskar.
