Pakistani actors are not terrorists: Salman Khan

| | Oct 01, 2016, at 12:35 am
Mumbai, Sept 30 (IBNS): Amid criticisms and possible ban on Pakistani actors following the Uri attacks this month, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan seems to have come out in support of them and said the actors from the neighbouring country are not terrorists.

"They are artists. They are not terrorists. Our government  gives them permits and visas,” Khan told media.

Following the attacks in Uri on Sept 18, there have been growing demands across the nation over banning Pakistani artistes working in India.

Raj Thackeray’s MNS had even earlier issued 48 hours ultimatum to actors, who are working here, to leave India.

Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar have been working in Indian movie industry for the past couple of years.

India witnessed a major militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri town on Sept 18 which left 18 soldiers martyred.
