Padmaavat slowly moving towards Rs. 150 crore mark at BO

Mumbai, Jan 31 (IBNS): Deepika Padukone's period movie Padmaavat, which released on Thursday, has earned Rs. 143 crores till Tuesday.

Hit by controversies, the movie, after a change of its title and release date, finally released to get positive response from fans.

The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

It is the first major release of the year.

Deepika is playing the role of of Padmavati.

The movie also features actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
