The leading ladies of the movie Akansha Puri, Satarupa Pyne, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh and Avni Modi were present at the event with the director.

Bhandarkar said the film will shock movie lovers.

“There are some subjects or issues in the society which should come through women. There will be a lot of regulations made and things shown in the movie will shock the viewers all in all it is an emotional story and a story about hope,” he added.

Set to release on Sept 25, ‘Calendar Girls’ essays the story of five models, who go through various phases from fame to anonymity.
