Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Deepika Padukone's maiden look as Romi Dev in Ranveer Singh starrer '83, which is a biopic on India's first World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev, fell nothing short of a picture to be glued to.

While Singh will portray Kapil Dev in the film, his actress Padukone will be seen as the former skipper's onscreen wife.

Sharing her first look on Twitter, Padukone said, "To play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour!83 for me is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own...”

Singh too shared the image on the micro-blogging site saying, "The Wind beneath my Wings. The Heart of the Hurricane."

Director Kabir Khan's '83 is a biopic on Kapil Dev who had lifted the prestigious trophy for the first time for India in 1983.

The film will release in three languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telegu- on Apr 10.
