Mumbai, Sept 11 (IBNS): Arjun Kapoor has consistently committed his time to worthy causes. He believes in using his celebrity status to amplify good causes, and is an avid soccer fan.
Often spotted playing football, Arjun made a special effort while shooting for a movie for a football related cause- the Slum Soccer team.
Arjun interacted with 18 talented boys and girls who live in slums but are united by their love for football. A foreign coach trains this team & this endeavor is supported by a non-profit organization, the Krida Vikas Sanstha in India.

Having wrapped up a day’s shoot, Arjun had a gala time hanging out with these kids and posing for pictures.
The Slum Soccer team will be heading to Amsterdam to represent India in a global tournament titled the Homeless World Cup. This is their 7th year of representing India. A chance to interact with their movie icon, Arjun Kapoor has driven them further to give their best at this global contest.
Currently shooting with Kareena Kapoor for his forthcoming R Balki film, Arjun’s gesture for the slum soccer team just goes on to show that above all, he is a star who genuinely cares for some causes.
