Anupam Kher's family tests positive for COVID-19, mother hospitalised

Mumbai/IBNS: Veteran actor Anupam Kher's family including his mother Dulari tested positive for COVID-19.

Besides his mother, Kher's brother, sister-in-law and his niece too tested positive for the contagion.

The actor's mother has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital.

Anupam Kher made a video and shared it on Twitter to inform about the crisis in his family.

"This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found Covid + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. My brother, bhabhi & niece inspite of being careful have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative. @mybmc is informed.!" his tweet read.

He said all his family members have mild symptoms.

The actor, however, tested negative for the virus.

On Saturday, legendary actor Amitabh Bachhan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, tested positive for COVID-19. They are currently admitted at Mumbai's Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital.
