Akshay Kumar's PadMan earns Rs. 10.26 crores on opening day

Mumbai, Feb 10 (IBNS): Akshay Kumar's Padman made decent start to the Box Office collection as the movie minted Rs. 10.26 crore on the first day of its release on Saturday.

"#PadMan has a DECENT start... Fri ₹ 10.26 cr... The biz, expectedly, picked up towards evening/night shows... The journey ahead is crucial... Sat + Sun should witness strong growth for a good weekend total... India biz," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The movie released on Friday.

PadMan is directed by R Balki.

It features actors Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.

PadMan is one of the major releases of the year.
