Mumbai, July 26 (IBNS): The date 26th July 2005 will always be one that is seared in every Mumbaikar's mind.
The date saw one of the most fearsome storms that hit the city of Mumbai which caused heavy rainfall and severe flooding all over.

'The Awakening' is a short film that is directed by Faruk Kabir and stars Ajay Devgn.

The film shows how our city was plunged into chaos because of our lack preparedness to deal with the heavy rain.

The story delves into the tragic events of that day through the eyes a child and asks everyone to help keep their city clean to avoid this disaster from taking place ever again.
