Actor Shah Rukh Khan awarded honorary doctorate degree by Hyderabad university

Hyderabad/Mumbai, Dec 26 (IBNS): Hyderabad's Moulana Azad National Urdu University conferred an Honorary doctorate on actor Shah Rukh Khan, the media reported on Monday.

Dressed in a graduation and cap, the actor, who has essayed several famous roles as a student, received his honorary doctorate degree for his dedication to promote the Urdu language and culture, reports said.

Rajiv Saraf, founder of Rekhta Foundation, was also awarded an honorary doctorate, along with the actor, for his contribution to the promotion of Urdu language.
