Tripura: Constable committed suicide

Ambassa (Tripura)/UNI: In a bizarre incident, a police constable committed suicide at Police Lines in Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here, the officials claimed.

According to sources, the constable identified as Mangla Debbarma (39) committed suicide by hanging from a tree adjacent to police lines.

The matter disclosed this noon. Other inmates of police lines noticed the body hanging from a tree.

Accordingly, top brass of police like SP Kishore Debbarma and others rushed to the spot. The constable a resident of Kairai Para under Mandwai police station in West Tripura district died for unknown reason so far.

However, police registered a case and started probing into it.
