Terror attack averted! Gujarat ATS catches 3 suspected ISIS members before possible strike

| @indiablooms | Nov 09, 2025, at 03:17 pm

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad has detained three individuals for their alleged links to the Islamic State (ISIS) and on suspicion of planning a possible terror attack, according to media reports.

The suspects have been identified as Ahmad Saiyyad, Mohammed Suhel, and Aazad, reports said.

Two of them are from Uttar Pradesh and one is from Hyderabad.

According to Gujarat Samachar, investigators believe the three may be part of a newly formed module with alleged links to ISIS.

The arrests were made after the ATS reportedly kept the suspects under surveillance for several days following a tip-off.

Initial inquiries suggest the men may have been planning an attack or providing support to a broader network, reports said.

They are currently being questioned to determine the scope of the alleged plot and any possible associates.
