Telangana: Two killed, one hurt as ambulance rams into stationary lorry

Nalgonda/UNI: Two people including a man and his son were killed on the spot and the driver was seriously injured when the ambulance in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary lorry at Kondrapole village of Dameracherla Mandal in this district on Wednesday.

The accident occurred when the ambulance carrying a patient Nandagopal Reddy (75) along with son Kamalakar Reddy was proceeding to Hyderabad from Nellore, police said.

The injured driver was admitted to Government Hospital in Miryalaguda for treatment.

The deceased were also shifted to the same hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
