Telangana: 5 killed in road accident

Hyderabad/UNI: Five youths were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Damera Mandal crossroads in Warangal (rural) district of Telangana on Wednesday.

One of the victims who was driving the car overtook another car and collided head-on with a lorry coming from the opposite direction, according to police.

The youth, all aged below 25 years, died on the spot.

The accident took place when the victims were travelling from Warangal to Mulugu.

Police arrived at the accident spot and sent the bodies to the Warangal hospital for postmortem.
