Sushma Swaraj meets Pope Francis

Vatican City, Sept 5 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on MOnday met Pope Francis here.

"Stronger ties with the Holy See. EAM @SushmaSwaraj called on @Pontifex at the Vatican, on her final day in Rome," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Apart from meeting top leaders in the country, Swaraj attended the canonization ceremony of Mother Teresa in Vatican City on Sunday.

Ending his visit to Italy, she left for Delhi on Monday.
