Sushma Swaraj meets Ivanka Trump in New York, discusses women's entrepreneurship

New York, Sep 19 (IBNS): External affairs minister, Sushma Swaraj, met US president Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, here on Monday where the two discussed about women's entrepreneurship.

Swaraj and Ivanka met on the sidelines of the annual UN General Assembly session.

Indian embassy in USA tweeted to say that both discussed women's entrepreneurship ahead of Ivanka's visit to India later this year.

Ivanka will visit India in November to lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES).

The US president's daughter even took to Twitter to compliment the Indian external affairs minister, calling the latter as "charismatic".

"I have long respected India's accomplished and charismatic Foreign Minister @SushmaSwaraj, and it was an honor to meet her today. #UNGA" Ivanka tweeted.
