Sushil Modi alleges Prashant Kishor of hurting NDA for benefiting opposition alliances

Patna/IBNS: The BJP has slammed Janata Dal(United) deputy chief and poll strategist Prashant Kishor who said his party should get lions share in the seat-sharing agreement in the next Bihar Assembly election saying that his focus is on creating a market for company and had no concern about the welfare of the country.

Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi in  a veiled attack said those who ran the business of "collecting poll data and frameing slogan" are hurting the National Democratic Alliance with their adverse remarks.

"A person running a business for profit first tries to create a market for his service, thinks about the welfare of the country later," Modi tweeted.

"People who have entered politics by running a business of collecting poll data and framing slogans instead of ideologies are benefitting the opposition alliances by making adverse comments," he added.

In a reply to Sushil Modi's tweet, Prashant Kishor relied, "The people of Bihar have made JD(U) the biggest party of Bihar under Nistish Kumar's leadership and not by any party's top leader or its leadership.

"It is a pleasant experience listening to lectures on political dignity and ideologies from Sushi lModi, who became the Deputy CM of Bihar out of circumstances even after losing the 2015 elections."

Amid the bitter exchange of words between BJP and Prashant Kishor, Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) chief Neetish Kumar tried to downplay the situation saying, "Sab Theek hai".

He told the reporters that everything is fine between BJP and JD(U).

Earlier this year, West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress signed Prashant Kishor's I-PAC to arrest BJP's growing influence in the state in the run up to the state Assembly elections in 2021.

Kishor also helped YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy sweep the state polls and claim power in Andhra Pradesh.
