Student stabbed to death in Delhi University's South Campus

New Delhi:  A student of School of Open Learning in Delhi University's South Campus was allegedly stabbed to death during an altercation, police said on Sunday.

According to the police, the victim, identified as Nikhil Chauhan (19), a student of BA (H) Political Science first year School of Open learning, and the accused came to the college to attend classes.

"At about 12:30 pm, the accused along with three associates met Nikhil outside the College gate and stabbed on his chest," a senior police official said.

He was declared dead by the Doctors in Charika Palika, police said.

"About seven days back, one of the SoL students in the College misbehaved with Nikhil's friend.
