Six killed in road mishap in Haryana's Ambala

Ambala/UNI: Six persons, including two sisters, were killed when an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a canter on Naraingarh-Sadhaura road at Ambala in Haryana on Friday, police said.

The accident occurred near village Barsu Majra.

Five died on the spot while a woman succumbed to her injuries on the way to a hospital.

The deceased were identified as Sunil, Mehar Chand, Salamti,Gafardeen, Priyanka and Komal, police said.

The bodies have been handed over to their families after postmortem.

The cater driver has been arrested after a hot chase, police added.
