Lucknow/UNI: The Shiv Sena on Tuesday staged a protest against Hindu Samaj Party founder Kamlesh Tiwari's murder while also demanding a compensation amount of Rs 50 lakh for the family of the deceased leader and that the case be probed by the CBI.

Shiv Sena's state president Anil Singh said that the law and order situation was in a very bad state in Uttar Pradesh. The Supreme Court had also expressed its concern on the state's law and order situation, he said.

Singh said that the government should hand over the probe of the murder to CBI while full security and a compensation amount of Rs 50 lakhs should be given to the deceased leader's family.
