Rahul Gandhi to kick start Congress poll campaign in Assam on Feb 14

Guwahati/IBNS: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will kick off the party’s poll campaign in Assam on Feb 14 in Sivasagar district.

Ahead of the assembly polls in the state which is scheduled in April-May this year, Rahul will kick start his poll campaign in Assam at Sivasagar Boarding Field.

Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora said that, Rahul Gandhi will address a mega rally at Sivasagar on February 14.

"We have made all arrangements for the mega rally at Sivasagar. Apart from it, we have planned to hold three more rallies in the state,” Ripun Bora said.

On Jan 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started his poll campaign for BJP in Assam from Sivasagar.
