Punjab: Two minor girls go missing from Panchhat high school

| @indiablooms | Aug 30, 2023, at 11:14 pm

At least two minor girls, studying at Panchhat high school in Narur village of Punjab, went missing on Tuesday.

On a complaint lodged by a woman Manjit Kaur of Narur village, the Rawalpindi police have registered a case under section 346 of IPC against unknown persons on the charges of kidnapping and keeping hostages the daughter of the complainant and her other friend (Classmate).

The complainant told the police on Wednesday that her daughter and her classmate friend (both studying matriculation) went to the school yesterday but not returned back.

She expressed her doubts that someone might have kidnapped both girls and keeping them hostage somewhere.

Phagwara Superintendent of Police Gurpreet Singh said the police are investigating the matter and searching for the missing girls.
