Punjab school girl sets herself on fire after sexual harassment
Chandigarh, Aug 11 (IBNS) In a shocking incident, a class 12 girl in Punjab who had complained of being sexually harassed for 20 days by three boys has died after setting herself on fire.
Reports said the incident occurred in Kal Banjara village of Sangrur on August 5 but no police complaint was registered until Monday.
The 16-year-old victim has named three boys from her village and another from neighboring village as abettors to crime.
All the accused are absconding.
A case has been registered.
