Rajasthan: Primary school roof collapses in Jhalawar, 4 students die

At least four students and several others are still feared to be trapped under debris after the roof of a school building collapsed in Rajasthan's Jhalawar on Friday morning.

The mishap occurred when the children were attending school.

Police and local residents rushed to the spot for the rescue operation.

Officials told NDTV  around 40 children, besides teachers and staff members, were present in the premises when the roof of the single-storey building collapsed.

The injured people were rushed to Manohar Thana Hospital.

The area has received heavy rainfall in recent times.
