New Delhi/UNI: The health condition of former President Pranab Mukherjee continues to be critical, the Army Research and Referral hospital said on Tuesday.

Mukherjee's vital parameters are stable and he continues to be on ventilator support under intensive care, the hospital said in a statement.

He is being closely monitored by a team of specialists.

The former President was admitted to the hospital a week ago and had to undergo an emergency life saving brain surgery after discovery of a clot.

He had also tested positive for Covid-19.
