PM Narendra Modi condoles demise of Motilal Vora

New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the passing away of veteran Congress leader Motilal Vora who passed away here at the age of 93.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, ''Shri Motilal Vora Ji was among the senior-most Congress leaders, who had vast administrative and organisational experience in a political career that spanned decades. Saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family and well-wishers. Om Shanti.''

According to sources, Vora was admitted to Fortis Escorts hospital on December 19 after he complained of breathlessness.

The Congress stalwart had served the party for five decades and held key positions such as Madhya Pradesh chief minister for two times, union minister and governor of Uttar Pradesh.
