PM Modi, Amit Shah greet Indo-Tibetan Border Police on its Raising Day

New Delhi/IBNS/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel on its Raising Day and lauded their humanitarian work during times of disaster.

Taking to Twitter, Modi said, "From dense forests in Arunachal Pradesh to the icy heights of the Himalayas, our @ITBP_official Himveers have answered the nation’s call with utmost dedication. Their humanitarian work during times of disasters is noteworthy. Greetings to all ITBP personnel on their Raising Day."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the ITBP personnel and their families on its Raising Day.

"@ITBP_official is well known for protecting the motherland in the toughest of terrains and serving the nation during natural calamities. India is proud of ITBP’s valour and determination" he tweeted.

Minister Rajnath Singh also extended his greetings to ITBP and said the indomitable spirit and professionalism of this force is deeply appreciated and admired.

"Greetings and warm wishes to all @ITBP_official personnel and their families on the Raising Day of this courageous Force. The ITBP is dedicated towards keeping India safe. The indomitable spirit and professionalism of this force is deeply appreciated and admired," he said on Twitter.
