Opposition to hold unity march in Mumbai on Republic Day
Mumbai, Jan 24 (IBNS): At least three opposition parties- NCP, Trinamool Congress and National Conference, will hold a unity march in the financial capital on Republic Day on Friday.
The "Save The Constitution March" will be held ahead of the budget session, beginning on Jan 29.
The Congress has not cleared whether it will participate in the march or not.
Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel might join the march, NDTV reported.
The march will take place in South Mumbai. It will begin from Dr Dadasaheb Ambedkar's statue at oval Maidan.
The march has once again stirred the possibility of a union of all opposition parties ahead of 2019 General Election.
