One killed, six others injured in head-on collision between two vehicles in Assam’s Kaziranga

Guwahati: One person was killed and six others were injured in a road mishap in Assam’s Goalghat district on Monday.

The incident took place at Geleki area near Kaziranga National Park where head-on collision between two vehicles.

According to the reports, due to the head-on collision between the vehicles one person died on spot while six others received severe injuries in the incident.

The deceased person was identified as Gyandeep Santhal and he was the leader of a Adivasi students’ organization.

The injured persons rushed to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital.
