NSCN (U) leader’s son and daughter-in-law pose with assault rifles at wedding function

Guwahati/IBNS: While the Naga rebel groups are negotiating a final settlement of two decades old Naga peace process, assault rifles was displayed publicly during a weeding function in Nagaland recently.

According to the reports, Naga insurgent group National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Unification (NSCN-U) leader and its Kilo Kilonser (Home minister)’s son Bohoto Kiba got married at 5th mile, Dimapur on Nov 9.

During the wedding function, the newly-wed son of NSCN (U) leader and the bride were seen with automatic assault rifles – AK 56 and M16 in their hands. The video and some pictures went viral on social media.

Several invited guests were also present during the wedding function and they were shocked after the newly married couple seen with automatic assault rifles in their hands.

The NSCN (U) – is a breakaway faction of NSCN (IM), which is among the seven insurgent groups in Nagaland joined the peace process.

Earlier, NSCN (U) leader Kiba had courted a controversy after he allegedly threatening journalists to shoot for the use of word ‘self styled’ before his name.
