No place in NDA for those who do not accept leadership of Nitish in Bihar: BJP

| @indiablooms | Oct 07, 2020, at 02:46 am

Patna/UNI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday categorically said that there would not be any place in NDA for those who do not accept the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar.

State BJP president Dr Sanjay Jaiswal in a hurriedly called press conference after a meeting of senior BJP leaders with Nitish Kumar at his official residence said that there was no place in NDA for those who do not accept the leadership of the Bihar CM.

All talks were being held and decisions taken in consultation with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and NDA was trying its best to ensure that he could become CM again after the victory of NDA with three fourth majority in the Bihar Assembly Elections, he added.

The clarification of Dr Jaiswal came in the wake of the decision of LJP president Chirag Paswan to oppose JD(U) in Bihar Assembly Elections.

He had also announced that his party had complete faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but would never accept the leadership of Kumar in Bihar.

It appears almost certain that LJP would be shown the door from NDA.
