New Delhi/UNI: Suspected contract killing of two businessmen in Kanjhawala and Narela was averted on Saturday after Delhi Police Special Cell nabbed three gangsters following a brief exchange of fire here.

According to police, Sachin, Pravesh and Vishal of the Gogi gang were arrested in the Qutabgarh area after a shootout.

Two of the criminals got injured during this exchange of fire and were taken to a hospital for treatment, the police said.

They were intercepted by the cell's team based on a tip-off.

The police teams have reached the spot and further probe proceedings are underway. Illicit fire-arms used by the criminals have been seized.
